Out of the box in FL Studio, Waveshaper is the first plugin to try out: it's got an 'octaver' preset to shift a signal up an octave by basically doubling the speed of the waveform. If you highpass filter that signal (mess around with the cutoff), you might be able to feed it into a guitar amp sim and get something more electric guitar ish. Like all FL Studio packages, the Producer Edition is incredibly versatile, easy to navigate and loaded with top-notch sounds. And FL Studio has other choices here too, including a Signature Bundle that contains everything in the Producer Edition along with a series of plugins like DirectWave Sampler, NewTone and Pitcher and Gross Beat. Spy Guitar: The Fender VI Bass Guitar is a classic instrument. Moving beyond the traditional four-string bass layout, it features six strings, for an impressive range. Spy Guitar includes a variety of playing styles, including upstroke and downstroke articulations, plus pizzicato (short notes) and ebow.
