After countless days trying to activate my navigation on my 2015 Explorer Limited, much help from the FORScan team (Thank you again for pointing me in the right direction), and numerous communications with a Youtuber, I have found a problem and solution. If you update your SYNC to version 3.10, as you know, you cannot reverse this. You also will lose your navigation (and I lost my 911 assist too). The patches to put it back all reference version 3.08. I have found a file from xda developers that repairs the navigation installation with SYNC version 3.10. I have followed all other steps (install navipatch, wallpaper, master reset, etc...), and then I found and installed this file. My navigation works. I love it. If you updated to 3.10, install your navipatch like normal (I think...you can experiment), reprogram your APIM with FORScan, master reset, install this file, and master reset again. You may not need to do this twice, I dunno. I only know it worked for me.
On December 11, 2014, Ford announced Sync 3, which will replace MyFord Touch, will have simpler features and will be powered by QNX software by BlackBerry Limited instead of Microsoft. The Sync 3 name will be used for both Ford and Lincoln models, though Lincoln's will have a different theme. Update your Ford SYNC version to receive the latest infotainment software features and bug fixes. Key features vary by SYNC version, these may include: Enhanced voice recognition, Apps at your command, Easy destination entry, Automatic updates over Wi-Fi. If you are having any problems with your My Ford Touch system you need to watch this video on how to update it yourself to the latest level of which fixes 90. Sometimes official SYNC2 updates delete your vehicle’s special startup logos / animation and you get just the ordinary Ford logo animation. All packages should be available in your vehicle’s latest SYNC2 update provided by Ford. However, for some reason they have probably not been installed or even overwritten or deleted and/or you are unable to identify or even find them.

I want GT350/GT350R animation!
Sorry guys. I am not aware of a Shelby Mustang GT350 equipped with SYNC2 (would have to be a MY2015, but was released as MY2016) so Ford didn’t provide us with an appropriate software package.
I want XY animation!
I am sorry, as long as that model has never been delivered with a Sync2 / MyFord Touch and/or there actually is no logo for it, my super powers are not strong enough to create the package you want. But I’d love to, seriously!
Can I / can you create a custom animation?
There are rumors this could be done somehow but my little tries failed. I used same dimensions and encoding for the video, cut it to the same length with the same number of frames like the original ones. Unfortunately, there is a hash check and it is virtually impossible to create a different file with the same checksum.
If there is anybody out there who succeeded, please contact me! I’d love to share knowledge or link to your sources.
